HTTP/HTTPS settings
If you’re using Appliance or Software versions (not Cloud) of the PBX, you’ll need to configure additional settings:
If you have an Yeastar subscription
Section titled “If you have an Yeastar subscription”Forward port 443 on your network equipment and use the Yeastar FQDN in the subsequent connection settings, as with cloud PBXs. Your connection option is https
If you don’t have Yeastar subscription
Section titled “If you don’t have Yeastar subscription”Two connection options are possible:
To use https mode, you need a domain and a valid SSL certificate (self-signed certificates are not suitable). Additionally, you need to forward port 8088 (the default port for https connections) on your network equipment.
To work in http mode, you must disable forced redirection to https in the web server settings and save the settings (see screenshots below):

After saving, on the same page, change the protocol to http and save the settings again.

After switching to the HTTP protocol, forward port 80 (the default port for HTTP connections) on your network equipment.
